Although I wasn’t present for the inspection due to work obligations; his report is very thorough to where I didn’t need to be. He was pleasant to work with and also was one of the most affordable inspectors I could find. He also was able to schedule within short notice. I would highly recommend him for any housing inspection needs.

Lane handled my inspection and he was great! He was able to fit me in with only a days notice, his pricing was affordable and upfront and he arrived at the house earlier than I did to begin the inspection. His report was detailed and contained both recommendations and pictures. Finally, he was prompt and concise with any and all follow up questions I had. Definitely recommend his to anyone buying a home in the Clarksville area!

Lane provided a thorough new home inspection, from roof to foundation. Added radon, taking a comprehensive 3 day measurement, which allayed concerns with preexisting construction. I would highly recommend!

When Lane did our inspection he was very polite and very thorough. Price was lower than most of his competitors, and the price for a follow-up inspection was also good. We just had our home inspection done yesterday and got our report back last night! The report was so thorough and very detailed! Highly recommend Shields Home Inspections we called them last minute to get a home inspection on a investment property we where interested in and he fit us right in last minute. We were first time home buyers and thought our house would be “move in ready”. Lane was very thorough and found multiple things that needed to be fixed. We also had to reschedule a couple times because of the builders and he was so nice and professional and worked with our hectic schedule. We met him at the house and he personally showed up everything on the report. Would recommend time and time again!!

Nothing but good things to say! I called Lane on a Tuesday night and he was able to get our home inspection scheduled for that Thursday already. He was very professional and answered any questions we had. I received the home inspection report that night, and it was very detailed and thorough including pictures. I definitely would recommend him and will be telling anyone that needs a home inspection done to call Lane!

Lane was great! He was patient with all of our questions as first time home-buyers. He has great attention to detail, and covered even the smallest things. He walked through and explained everything to us and was very thorough with all of his explanations and recommendations. We would definitely recommend him for a home inspection.
